Who We Are

MISSION STATEMENT

God has called this congregation as bold ambassadors to represent the kingdom of God through evangelism, discipleship, and service to others. We stand firm on the Scriptures; we believe in the power of fervent prayer; and the call to love, walk in righteousness and humility before God. God is preparing us, through prophetic preaching and teaching, to bring the hope of the Gospel to our community, as “we lead every thought and purpose away captive into the obedience of Christ.” (2 Corinthians 10:5 AMP) We vow to do everything in our power to help you grow by making a difference in your life, for your family, and in the community.

IN YOUR LIFE – We are a primarily a teaching ministry. Our main goal is to teach you God’s Word through, preaching, small group assemblies, instructional seminars, and educational classes. By gaining an understanding in the Word of God, you will “understand what is right and just and fair-every good course in life.” (Proverbs 2:9 GWT).

FOR YOUR FAMILY – We are a group of loving, caring, believers who make it our goal to build a personal relationship with you and your family. Through giving, benevolence, and family activities, we are devoted to connecting with you spiritually. You and your children will find learning and growing at Liberty Community Sabbath Church is an exciting spiritual experience.

IN THE COMMUNITY – We not only labor for the community, we are a part of it. We have programs set aside to service our community and surrounding areas in Rock Hill. Our. Outreach programs also services the community by reaching out to those who are in need of spiritual enrichment.

Our History

Liberty began as Liberty Community Baptist Church in 2000 under Pastor Al Boyd.

Upon is resignation in 2005 The Church was led to call Pastor  Dr. Charles White-Kiser and his wife First Lady Dorothy Kiser. The Lord had given Pastor Kiser who has over 35 yrs of ministry a Word to study the Sabbath Day. After much prayer and study the congregation following the Word of God's Spirit changed in 2012  from Sunday to the Sabbath in obedience to The Word of God.

Now, the church has a membership of people serving God and one another. The members of Liberty Community Sabbath share a passion for learning the truth, edifying one another, and serving our community. God has blessed us with many spiritual gifts “for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the Body of Christ” (Ephesians 4:11 KJV). In the pursuit of righteousness, we continue to build a strong body of believers and aim for the high calling of Christ.

You are welcome to join us for any of our services designed for enrichment and spiritual growth. We meet Tuesdays @7 PM and Saturdays 11:00 am. We would love the opportunity to meet you.
